Going to a restaurant is my ideal evening - good food, drink and company but MzuriKhana is that and more. If your taste buds have not already been bedazzled by Indian food, you need to try our East African Indian flavours straight from the island of Zanzibar. I'm Aaliyah Jaffer and I am the co-founder of the business but the real talent sits with my mother Siddika Jaffer. Her passion has always been cooking; from a young age I remember waking up to a home infused with aromas of exotic spices and herbs, there were people wondering around impatiently in anticipation of the delights that were about to tantalise their taste buds. Nobody ever left without a smile on their face. I have learnt from the best.

We would like to share this experience and unique cuisine by welcoming guests to our warm cosy home in Archway, Islington and offer you a six-eight course tasting menu. We have capacity for ten people – places fill up quickly so get in contact to book yourself and some friends on! 

We also offer catering services for any event and can tailor the menu to your taste. Whether it's a kids party, a garden party or even an engagement we can provide a range of delicious East African Indian food. Or perhaps you are thinking of having a BBQ and fancy cooking but don’t have time for all the prep? We can take all the hassle away and prepare all the food so it's ready to go to straight on the grill.
